Rhea + Sumant- Featured on Maharani Weddings

Last year, I had the pleasure of working with an amazing couple, Rhea and Sumant. I can't believe that a year has already come and gone. With flowers, our job is typically done by the time the guests arrive, so I don't get to stick around very often to see the celebrations unfold. So you must know how thrilled I am to get to see the wedding videos!! This wedding video, by Uforia Films, captures the essence of Rhea and Sumant. The video is filled with all of the best emotions of a wedding day. There were tears of joy, laughter, excitement, lots of fun dancing, and best of all it was oozing with L.O.V.E. This sensational video was featured recently on Maharani Weddings' Filmy-Fridays! You've got to see it! But, have some tissue handy!

Alice + Argenis - Ritz Carlton Half Moon Bay- 05.25.14

It was a beautiful day. The weather could not have been more perfect for Alice and Argenis's wedding at the Ritz Carlton, Half Moon Bay. Because it was the Memorial Day weekend, things were especially busy at the hotel. Who can resist getting to watch a wedding take place at such a beautiful setting. All eyes were on Alice as she walked down the aisle! Here are some photos of their ceremony and reception.

Alice and a bunch of her girlfriends planted each of these succulents into monogrammed shot glasses. What a cute idea! To go along with the succulent table, we created a silver manzanita branch arrangement with succulents in hanging orbs.

We had an amazing time creating the floral arrangements for Vickie and Ka's wedding this past weekend. An incredible sense of accomplishment came over me after seeing it all finally come together for this sweet couple. Lannie+Tony-Rengstorff House Wedding Featured on Style Me Pretty

Happy New Year! I have been off the grid from blogging for a little bit while tending to my new little bundle of joy, Nolan. Oh, boy has he been keeping me busy. I'll be doing a best of 2012 blog soon, but today I wanted to share that Tanjeeryn Designs was featured on Style Me Pretty yesterday! I was absolutely thrilled to hear of the great news. It was a delight to work with Lannie and Tony and their awesome team of vendors. I adore Frances Liu of Charmed Events Group and Gladys Jem for her amazing photos seen below.

Happy Anniversary, Bernice and Brandon!

I recently recieved a sweet email from past clients, Bernice and Brandon. I did their wedding flowers last year on July 16th! It is amazing how quickly 1 year has past. A year ago for Bernice and Brandon's wedding at Villa Montalvo we made mini phalaenopsis orchid arrangements that were re-planted into wooden boxes. The thought was that they and their guests would be able to bring home a keepsake from their wedding that they would be able to enjoy for a long time. Bernice shared some lovely photos of the very same orchids we used for their wedding day that she has nurtured and kept as beautiful as the day we used them for her wedding. Thanks for sharing, Bernice!

AnneMarie and Kelvin-Civil Wedding {5.29.12}

I had the pleasure to provide leis for AnneMarie, Kelvin and all their guests for their civil wedding which took place on May 29th at the beautiful San Francisco City Hall. All their guests were greeted with green and white dendrobium orchid leis and AnneMarie and Kelvin wore open ended meile leis made with ti leaves and tuberoses and white dendrobium orchids. They had a lovely intimate ceremony that relfected their love for the islands of Hawaii!! The fabulous coordination and planning of the event was by Duncan Reyes of F. 2nd Annual The Chic Boutique-A Bridal Gala

We were so happy to take part again this year as a vendor at The Chic Boutique held at Hotel Los Gatos! The bridal gala was a wonderful way for discerning couples planning their weddings to meet talented and creative vendors in an intimate setting. I had a wonderful time creating the arrangements for the ceremony area. I have been loving indigo and dark brown lately and decided to create outdoor elegance with dark browns, indigo and white. I wanted to have a mix of feminine elegance with masculine colors and I think it worked out pretty well in the ceremony space I had to work with.

M Magazine, Wild Wild West {Styled Shoot}

Half Moon Bay is such a treasure! I have realized over the last few weeks that there are so many hidden gems in this awesome beach community. The latest styled photoshoot that I created floral arrangements for was at Long Branch Saloon. It was like stepping into a set in the Old West! This place is filled with so much western charm that it was perfect for a "Wild Wild West" Birthday Party, which was the theme for the styled shoot for M Magazine! I had so much fun creating the arrangements for the shoot and working with all the creative and talented women who made it happen!

Amy and Adam- Oceano Hotel, Half Moon Bay {5.12.12}

Congratulations Amy and Adam! It was such a delight to work with this couple! From the time that I met them and Adam's mom, Karen for a consultation, I knew that I would have a blast working with them. They were so down to earth, easy going and FUN! I absolutley LOVE them. It was my first time working at Oceano Hotel in Half Moon Bay where Amy and Adam were married and had their reception. Nancy, the wedding coordinator there, was a joy to work with. The staff were so accommodating and sweet. LOVE this hotel! The decor and the colors lended themselves well to the elegant seaside chic wedding that Amy and Adam envisioned. Behind the Scenes--Pearl and Simon's Wedding 4.28.2012

We just finished a beautiful wedding ceremony at The Ritz Carlton, Halfmoon Bay. It was the most gorgeous day--clear skys, not too much wind, and just enough breez and warmth. The day was perfect for Pearl and Simon who were wed at The Ritz and later had their reception at the Koi Palace in Daly City. Pearl and Simon had a wonderful wedding planner Amy Tam of Amy's Wedding and Events and a great designer Venus Wei. Although, I didn't have the opportunity to meet Pearl and Simon until just about the end of their wedding day, Amy and Venus were able to convey to me what the couple wanted and ultimately we were able to make their visions come to life. Featured on Style Me Pretty-The Secret Garden

Erin and Erin {11.20.10}

I came across a CD today from Geoff White Photographers with Erin and Erin's wedding pictures. (That's right, their first names are spelled the same!) And I had to share them right away! Much of my posting and blogging as fallen through the cracks with the busy wedding season, but I had to absolutely stop what I was doing to share the wedding of one of my favorite brides.

Erin and Erin were such a delight to work with. Erin (the bride) works with Geoff White Photographers and is the voice behind the thoughtful and charming blog posts. She is truly a woman of many talents! I discovered this as I got to know her and her wedding visions better. She is creative and is a whiz with a glue gun--she hand crafted boutonniere and corsages with ribbon and trinkets for each of her guests, and designed an amazing tablescape for her autumn-vintage glam wedding! But that's not all folks, Erin is also a certified make-up artist! Check out her post here about the fabulous new company, Mirabell Cosmetic Artistry, that she started after having difficulty finding the right make-up artist for her own wedding.

Erin and Erin had a beautiful wedding at the Mountain Terrace. Although it was the rainiest day in November, E&E still had a beautiful indoor ceremony and reception. Erin later told me that a part of her had hoped for a little rain so that she could make use of the oh-so-lovely umbrellas she was able to rent and bring out her galoshes!
