2nd Annual The Chic Boutique-A Bridal Gala

We were so happy to take part again this year as a vendor at The Chic Boutique held at Hotel Los Gatos! The bridal gala was a wonderful way for discerning couples planning their weddings to meet talented and creative vendors in an intimate setting. I had a wonderful time creating the arrangements for the ceremony area. I have been loving indigo and dark brown lately and decided to create outdoor elegance with dark browns, indigo and white. I wanted to have a mix of feminine elegance with masculine colors and I think it worked out pretty well in the ceremony space I had to work with.

M Magazine, Wild Wild West {Styled Shoot}

Half Moon Bay is such a treasure! I have realized over the last few weeks that there are so many hidden gems in this awesome beach community. The latest styled photoshoot that I created floral arrangements for was at Long Branch Saloon. It was like stepping into a set in the Old West! This place is filled with so much western charm that it was perfect for a "Wild Wild West" Birthday Party, which was the theme for the styled shoot for M Magazine! I had so much fun creating the arrangements for the shoot and working with all the creative and talented women who made it happen!

Amy and Adam- Oceano Hotel, Half Moon Bay {5.12.12}

Congratulations Amy and Adam! It was such a delight to work with this couple! From the time that I met them and Adam's mom, Karen for a consultation, I knew that I would have a blast working with them. They were so down to earth, easy going and FUN! I absolutley LOVE them. It was my first time working at Oceano Hotel in Half Moon Bay where Amy and Adam were married and had their reception. Nancy, the wedding coordinator there, was a joy to work with. The staff were so accommodating and sweet. LOVE this hotel! The decor and the colors lended themselves well to the elegant seaside chic wedding that Amy and Adam envisioned. Behind the Scenes--Pearl and Simon's Wedding 4.28.2012

We just finished a beautiful wedding ceremony at The Ritz Carlton, Halfmoon Bay. It was the most gorgeous day--clear skys, not too much wind, and just enough breez and warmth. The day was perfect for Pearl and Simon who were wed at The Ritz and later had their reception at the Koi Palace in Daly City. Pearl and Simon had a wonderful wedding planner Amy Tam of Amy's Wedding and Events and a great designer Venus Wei. Although, I didn't have the opportunity to meet Pearl and Simon until just about the end of their wedding day, Amy and Venus were able to convey to me what the couple wanted and ultimately we were able to make their visions come to life.
